History of Innovations
Having a love for motorcycles and inherited mechanical
ability, Kevin Blane began his dream of opening a small motorcycle shop in Clarksville, Tennessee in 1979. As his business
grew and expanded, he relocated to Nashville, TN. Specializing in repair of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, offering a
wide variety of parts, and options on high-performance, Blane had a reputation for performance motors. Accomplishments include, Drag Racing experience
with HDRA, AMRA, IHRA/ Pro Star. This included classes competed in Pro Stock, Pro Gas, and Pro Street. In 1990, Blane invented and patented the single adjustable push rod that was designed for Harley-Davidson
motorcycles without removal motor components.Also in 1993, he invented STA-BO
I, swing arm stabilizer for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, FXR, FLT. Today, with the growth of STA-BO sales, the business name has been changed to Innovations/STA-BO, LLC, which is located
in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
