ED 16 swing arm bearings are our solution to the problematic spherical bearings found on newer models of Harley Davidson® motorcycles.

Under normal riding conditions the spherical bearings found on models from 2002 to present last approximately 45,000 miles.
If your bike is close (or over) 45,000 miles we recommend upgrading to the ED 16 along with a STA-BO II.
ED 16 Compatibility
The ED 16 is compatible with 2002 and newer along with STA-BO II for 2002-2008 Harley Davidson motorcycles.
How To Check If You Need New Bearings
If you have a late model (2002 – Present) and want to check the condition of your bearings, just follow these three simple steps.
- Elevate your motorcycle high enough to get the rear wheel off the ground.
- From the left hand side of your motorcycle, move the swing arm back and forth.
- If the swing arm moves independently of the assembly then new swing arm bearings are highly recommended.
ED 16 Installation
If you are comfortable performing non-routine maintenance tasks you can install the ED 16 within 2 hours. If you are not comfortable with these type tasks, we recommend having the bearings installed by a licensed mechanic.
